WELCOME TO MY ONLINE FRENCH BOOK CLUB!
This book club is for upper intermediate to advanced French learners. The goal here is not only to be able to follow along a french book, but also to be able to exchange and discuss with other participants, all in french.
☕ For upper intermediate to advanced (level B2 to C2 recommended).
☕ A new book each month.
☕ Weekly sessions to meet and discuss about the book (a session lasts an hour).
HOW DOES IT WORK?
🎯 ONE BOOK AT A TIME, OVER A MONTH - The book is yours to buy. I’ll join an Amazon link on this page each month for you to purchase it, but this is not included in the registration price. You’ll always be notified in advance on this page to make sure you can schedule the sessions on your side and purchase the book. Before each session, I will give you a certain number of set chapters to read per week, on your own, and during each session we will discuss about these chapters.
📝 VOCABULARY SUPPORT - During each session we will discuss about the chapters you will have read beforehand, but we will also see the vocabulary or expressions you are not necessarily familiar with. I will give explanations and guidance regarding the vocabulary if you have any questions. At the end of a session, I will send the notes to all the participants.
📅 SCHEDULE - We'll meet each week on Zoom, the same day at the same time during the month indicated on this page (see below). A session lasts an hour. The number of sessions depend on the length of the book over the course of the month.
💰 CANCELLATION AND REFUND - If you are unable to attend the sessions or wish to cancel, you may do so prior to payment, during the registration phase. However, once payment for the month has been made, the transaction is considered final, and no refunds will be issued for cancellations on your part regardless of the reason. Once your registration is confirmed, the teacher commits to group organization, time slot booking, preparing teaching materials, and the fact that you may be taking a spot that could have gone to someone else.
If you are already part of the month and can’t show up to a session (or more), as we can’t postpone these meetings to another date, the session is charged and lost. No refunds are issued either.

A few days before the start of the month, I'll confirm your group and send you the payment details by email to complete your registration. If a group is full, you may be placed on the waiting list or offered a place in another group, subject to availability.
Please note: this book club is not a monthly subscription. Instead, you simply sign up one month at a time (1 book, 4 sessions). You're free to take a break and join us again whenever you'd like!
