WHAT IS THE DELF/DALF?
The Diplôme d'études en langue française (Diploma in French Language Studies) or DELF for short, is a degree of French-language abilities for non-native speakers of French administered by France Education International for France's Ministry of Education. It is composed of four independent diplomas corresponding to the first four levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: A1, A2, B1 and B2.
Regarding levels C1 and C2, it is called DALF (Diplôme approfondi en langue française) and the level is more demanding and requires to reach a total of 50 points out of 100 to pass.
HOW DOES IT WORK WITH ME AS YOUR TEACHER?
📚 The material is provided to you (PowerPoint files, audios, exercises, notes, etc).
💡 A session lasts 50 minutes.
✔️ I prepare all levels: DELF A1, A2, B1, B2 and DALF C1, C2.
BEFORE STARTING ANYTHING...
📉 A 25-MINUTE TRIAL SESSION IS HELD, as a first encounter, to meet each other, talk about your experience and goals, and to agree on a schedule to start the sessions as soon as you wish to. You can also contact me beforehand before purchasing a 25-minute session if you have any question.
POLICY OF MY CLASSES
💻 PLATFORM USED: The classes are held on ZOOM - I always send the link via email. A lesson lasts 50 minutes.
💰 PAYMENTS: Payment must be made PRIOR to the class, ideally the day before. Last-minute payments are not accepted. Payments must be made on my website using the PayPal buttons (you can pay with a PayPal account or a card if you do not have a PayPal account).
⌚ CANCELATION / TARDINESS: To ensure smooth scheduling and fairness to all students: if you cannot attend a scheduled lesson, please notify me 24 hours prior. If you fail to attend without 24-hour prior notice the lesson will be considered done and paid (= the class is lost). However, if you inform me in due time, we can arrange an alternative date for your lesson and your lesson will be rescheduled (= the class is not lost). If a student is late, the lesson can proceed if I am notified in advance, but it will end at the scheduled time, without extension. In case of an unforeseen emergency (illness, accident, grief, etc.), please notify me as soon as possible. These situations will be handled flexibly, but note that last-minute cancellations cannot become a regular occurrence.
💶 REFUNDS: Please note that refunds are not issued. By booking a lesson, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy. Each session is carefully prepared in advance, based on your level and goals, and includes both teaching time and ongoing preparation work behind the scenes. This ensures a consistent and personalized learning experience for every student. Thank you for your understanding and respect for this policy.

PAYMENT
📌 VALID 3 MONTHS: From the date of purchase, you have 3 months to complete the 5-lesson pack. After this period, the pack will expire without any refund, no matter if you completed your lessons or not. You will have to pay for a new pack of lessons if you wish to resume your lessons.
